Mr. Gallardo’s trajectory in Banking started in 1994 with HSBC and continued with a 10 year career with BBVA, first as Manager of Corporate Banking and later as Director of Institutional Banking.  In 2003 Mr. Gallardo founded Grupo Galyba to pursue opportunistic investments in delinquent real estate loans and foreclosed property. Five years later he co-founded Elite to offer short term financing guaranteed by real estate.  Mr. Gallardo earned a Masters of Business Administration double-degree in Marketing and Finance from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and EGADE (1997). He also holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from ITESM (1993).
