​Mr. Fernandez has been involved in the private equity asset class during his 10 year career at SunGard Financial Systems.  From 2003 to 2008, Mr. Fernandez served as Controller, Vice President of Finance and Financial Officer in SunGard’s Alternative Investments Segment, which later became part of the Asset Management Segment.  In 2008, Mr. Fernandez transitioned into the Investran business unit to work directly with the private equity client base.  Mr. Fernandez earned a Masters of Business Administration double-degree in Finance and Management of Information Systems from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and the Escuela de Graduados en Administracion y Direccion de Empresas (“EGADE”) at Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (“ITESM”) in Monterrey, Mexico (1997).  He also holds a BS degree in Physics from ITESM (1992).
